I'll will be there, with a Mog and a Porsche. Most of the Clubs have passes for the infield but when I called MSCC the reaction was akin to if I'd just asked to have sex with their Grandmother.

I know there's a Centenary gig at Prescott that weekend and I plan to be at Cheltenham the week after but I can't believe that no Mog owners are tempted by a ton of classics and a free Santana gig on the Saturday night!!

I've done the Silverstone Classic Retro Run twice with the MGBV8, both times starting at Aston Martin at Newport Pagnell. (The photos are on here). But I'm bound for Prescott........ woohoo
There's only one Centenary, and there will be plenty more Silverstone Classics.

FWIW there will be Mogs in the programme at the Silverstone Classic (http://www.silverstoneclassic.com).

Simon Orebi Gann's SLR is racing, as well as Richard Plant's Plus 4 (quite probably other Plus 4s too - not seen the lists yet).

Should be a good weekend.

Ahaaaa.

So, any ideas as to how I get pass for the Aero into the infield, given the Club hasn't booked a space? THAT'S the question.

On past events, the first 'hundred' classics to arrive were allowed infield. Check the event website, but if that's the deal, you'll need to be there early...... Like before 0800 I imagine. flag

Checked but nothin' doin' on the first 100 classics. My experience of the gate staff at Silverstone is that they are totally "by the book" - no pass, no entry. I have a call out to the organisers and will post here if successful in case any other Morganisti on here are planning to be there.
