hi,

seems like the oil-hoses on pre-april A'max/S IV are not holding properly, one Aeromax and (the guys brothers) SeriesIV needed replacing hoses, after the originals got loose... ooo
second Belgian A'max is being updated

(all 3 Belgian Aeromax are at the dealers...)

The said hose broke and all the oil went out of the engine five kilometers away from Malvern, when I took delivery of mine last November....

Interesting my Series 4 has just had it's 15,000 mile service, in that time no issues with hoses.

Went for a complete fluids change all round rather than the minor service as have about 4,000 miles of driving over the next 10 days with the trip to Portugal and the the Aero Club meet in St Tropez.

Might be a small batch that have come from BMW like that and it's been missed as the cars have been going through build as I assume that all the hoses are pretty much in place from engine delivery.

My series 1V was 'recalled' to have the hoses changed last July after a warning sent from Malvern. They were insistent that it needed doing quite urgently at the time. It had only covered a few hundred miles.
