Those were my first thoughts too but on a second look, what about Aston Martin DBR 1 replica?

The way the fin curves down at the back and also the fact that the wraparound cockpit perspex doesn't come back in a straight line set me thinking 'Aston'

Also- and for what it's worth, that shade of green looks a bit light for Jag- much more like the Le Mans winning car?

On the other hand, it hasn't got the cut out'lozenges' which were very distinctive on the DBR 1

Its only a somewhat wild guess, so I'm happy to be corrected!

I would expect the Aston to have side air vents set at a diaginal behind the front wheel

I'm going to guess that its a lynx replica specified without the fin and with the full screen option

I've posted a pic of the real thing under 'General Photo Gallery' As we've both said, there should be very visible air vents or scoops.

I know people's views about replicas vary a heck of a lot. There are good ones and bad ones but I really wasn't taken with that XKSS on the Duncan Hamilton site

I hadn't looked too closely didn't realise it was a replica, I know real ones are as rare as hens teeth, Steve McQueen had one at one time. photo caption says 1956,most details look about right but I'm no expert - haven't got an original to hand to check rivets etc I read somewhere 42 D-types [@ £3000 each] and 16 xkss where built, 1957 factory fire destroyed tooling and put paid to any more.
