Hello,

I am living in France. From 2005 to 2008, I have owned a Lotus Elise R. Since this time, I'm studying any car to replace it, I take my time. I'm looking for a car to do any trip but fun, not a hardcore sport car like the Elise, something more gentle.

I read some interesting thing about the 2012 production plan, it would be great if Morgan company made a small LifeCar like the RoadSter V6.

I have bought some english books about morgan, fascinating !!

Long life to Morgan Company, great cars, perfect spirit.

Happy New Year
Corsu
PS: Sorry for my bad english, I know, I am French, nobody is perfect.

Welcome to the forum Corsu.

There are a few owners on this site who have sold an Elise and exchanged it for a Morgan. I'm sure they will be able to offer some advice and guidance. smile

Thank you very much.

Before buying my Elise, I thought of buying a Morgan Roadster . In fact, Elise is an amazing car but too "Hard" for my family. So, I am waiting to buy the future Roadster. blush

Hello Corsu,
Welcome to the forum. cheers

Being somewhat influenced by being a new owner of a Centenary 100 Roadster (but have never driven an Elise) This car available in a 4 seat version) is just a fabulous drive. We found it has a 'softer' ride than the 4/4 we had before. Maybe this is due to the wide wheels ( nearly double the width) and the Shock absorbers.

Happy Hunting. sunny

Thank you for your kind suggestion.

In fact, about the elise, my mother, my girlfriend, my father can't get in, only the dog. My girlfriend doesn't like it. I love the elise but i spend more time on road than on a circuit. So to do a nice trip, i think, a morgan, it's a right choice.

I'm reading all the messages of the forum ....

Welcome to the forum and I hope that your reading persuades you down the Morgan route.

Given that you are an Elise owner have you considered an Aero 8? Couple of owners who have driven mine liken it to a larger and more powerful Elise.

A French friend of mine who lives in Lyon recently bought a RHD S1, and I could probably put you in touch.

Cheers

Hello Philippo,

As I wrote, I'm waiting the 2012 Production plan nonetheless I thought buy an Aero 8 S3 or S4 but for the moment, it's too expensive. A friend of mine owns a Morgan +4, I love this car but I want something powerful.

An Aero 8 is smaller than a Peugeot 407 car laugh2

Thanks you very much for your kind proposition smile

Hello Corsu and welcome.

The Aero might be smaller in size but the performance is truly excellent.

If you are looking to purchase a 'trad' then think either about the Roadster or the Plus 4.

Without becoming too technical, it is true to say that the Plus 4 produces 150 bhp in standard form and can very easily be tuned to produce a much greater output.

Maintenant, bienvenue encore une fois
Felicitations.

Sunny greetings from Luxembourg,

Absolutely spot on Ivo.

Everyone adores Morgans.

My 85 year old father has managed a few passenger rides in my Aero 8. Whilst he doesn't exactly jump in or out of it he does so without too much difficulty. Think that a 'Max would be a different story right enough.

You try and be subtle using the royal 'we' for anonymity then you post a picture of Aeroman oldgit adjacent to it which gives the game away immediately......

Boshly,

What going on with the avatar, have you had the mog re-wrapped in a shape shifting film, or have you stolen a motor from aeromans collection.

I worry about two avatars on this site.
Boshly appears to be not only into pink (see other thread on not too old) but also a closet TR7 lover.
Corsu welcome, but I must say if that avatar is you, then your performance as the auto pilot in Airplane was great. You deserved an oscar!

Seriously Corsu, welcome & I hope you get as much as we all do out of Morgan ownership.

Hehe,

Just catching up after 4 days in Keswick Frank. Now I see what you mean. Boshly did relate the story of the car over lunch after our TM factory tour.
Cheers,

I was behind the camera Frank, that was the Sales Director and the guy who bought the car off us.

Although that I was much younger and 'svelter' than now is true, that's nothing like what I was, think more Jonny Depp (or Brad Pitt in certain light) and yes I know you all think that's a bit weird considering I am now a dead ringer for George Clooney but C'est la vie smile
