Is it easy to fit over riders then? I like them but the dealer said I'd need to drill the chassis and pay a fortune

Your 2012 Plus 4 should already have the tubes at the rear of the chassis, behind the lower valance. If so, you need a pair of brackets, plus over-riders, plus fixings. You also need to cut two oval holes in the lower valance.
BHM did all this on my previous car when I had over-riders fitted front and rear.
It's not cheap!

As Dave W says the tubes will be there but holes need to be cut in the plastic valance.
I had this done at BHM and Phil Wareham the parts manager sorted out the rack for me. It might be worth giving them a call.

The holes are there...easy to cut valance.Just undo the bottom valance to measure center of attachments and cut with hole saw.

I did this on my 4/4 as I wanted a black rack to match my car and used a s/h +8 powdercoated rack.. made up the bracketry myself on my bumper less car.

Quoted 400+ pounds by dealer to fit "my" rack...did it myself cost 15.00 pounds in metal.

Could someone post a pic or two of the 'Sport' rack top fixing both attached to the hood plunger spring point, and loose away from the car, please..?

The top fixing is into the wood frame, threaded fixings are already in place behind the trim (it was on mine anyway) and it bolts in place there.

On the question of luggage racks......I'm changing from overriders to full bumpers. My current rack slides onto pins attached to the overrider brackets. Has anyone a rack on a full bumper car that fits the same way?

The full bumper racks appear to use elongated flat brackets from the bumper irons.
