Does anybody have any suggestions for a DAB radio suitable for a 4/4 that is easy to remove when parked?
Thanks.

Richard are you looking for a dash mounted radio with a security feature or a portable unit that you could also use in the home?

Thanks Trevor - I wasn't thinking of one that could be used at home, but one that could be taken out of the car for security reasons. I had been thinking of something that would be removed from its slot in its entirety, but of course a panel removal would work too. Also, I should have asked about any recommendations for a DAB aerial. I imagine most of these are not designed with Morgans in mind! Thanks for your help.
Best wishes Richard

Richard, If you are considering something really portable, I can recommend the Pure Highway (however, you do need an existing stereo to use this device): - Pure Highway portable DAB radioAmazon have them for £60.00 and I've seen them on eBay for cheaper. If you want a fixed head unit (or do not have an existing standard stereo (i.e. non-DAB)), I'd speak with your local in-car stereo shop as they should be able to advise the most current option. If you are located in the South, I can recommend a few shops. I hope that helps.

I'd be interested to know of an ordinary one that works, in South Bucks' Another supplementary question regarding Digital Wireless and TV signal difference to Analog. When the Greenwich Time Signal 'Pips' go, which one is correct?

The DAB one is delayed. Analogue radio/TV is as close to correct as you will get.
If you really want accuracy, buy one of those 'off-air' alarm clocks Frank. As long as the l.f. time signal is still transmitted in UK (formerly from Rugby, now from somewhere in Cumbria) you'll have an accurate timepiece - it's tied to a caesium clock, linked to other clocks around the globe.
Cheers,

DAB is a con, bandwidth is too narrow to allow really high quality transmission, the FM radio on my £20 nokia mobile has better Radio 3 reception than my £150 vita DAB 100% in agreement! While I have several DAB receivers, the first was won via Classic FM, they all spend majority of time on the vhf broadcast band (erroneously referred to as the 'FM band'). There is even a petition on the Number 10 web site calling for the abolition of the 'FM band' to be cancelled... Cheers,
