Good afternoon all,
I am completely new to this forum and in the process of re-building a 1979 4/4 four seater. the front shocker are completely rusted through and I need to find an acceptable replacement. £78 seems a little excesive for the "Morgan" labelled version so my question is what car were the original shockers from? Is there a database somewhere which has this information on.
Thanks in anticipation.
JK

John,
try Hearts of England Morgan or Melvyn Rutter.

I fitted Konis but there are others with more adjustment.
John cheers

On the 1977 4/4-4 of my friend the originals were Monroe (MonroMatic; he changed to adjustable Konis and the still good Monroes are now on my spares shelf).

I still have a set of standard Roadster dampers with minimal mileage - free (but plus P&P) if you know anybody out there who could make use. I just can't bin them.........
