I also wonder how long the paint will stay unscratched or upholstery in the door clean in winter.

I am sure the old chauffeur will keep it clean and polished, don't you know!

unfortunately it totaly destroys the structure of the vehicle,
I wonder what is holding this vehicle together ;-no sill panel no sidemembers and not enough room for a beam down the middle as far as I can see

when one lived in Keeenya don't you know one had the pleasure of watching the houseboy wash & wax the Peugeot 504 estate (off white of course) whilst one had breakfast served by the house girl.

Now alas with no servants & no money for them thanks to that nice Mr B the chauffer is me & it will be a long time between washes & waxes.
