Now I am sure almost everyone will have seen this old clip before but I only saw it for the first time two days ago on 'DaveTV'.

For those who may not have seen it - Enjoy the sound and a great car being discovered by a yet to be converted (& hated by some here) Morgan Ambassador 'The Hamster' drive

Why should anyone not like Hammond? He was at the centenary celebrations and came across as a thoroughly nice chap with a real passion for the marque.

Surely people are capable of distinguishing between theatre (Top-Gear - and great theatre it is) and real life. Not liking Hammond for his style of presenting is like beign scared of Christopher Lee becuase he is a vampire IMHO.

Great clips - this was the TV that made me realise I had to have sidepipes..

I agree, I find Richard Hammond very entertaining.

However there are some who don't get on with him including, by his own admission, the editor of Top Gear Magazine. Probably one of the reasons the hamster rarely features in it.

Yup,

Met him at Prescott when TG was filming what turned into a very short piece with a Frogeye and a Chavmobile Pug 309 (or 307, or something). James May also...
Would happily spend a day in Hammond's company.
Cheers,

Yup,
Either wrongly programmed their Satnav, or the mapping was out - they were at Woodmancote, the other side of the hill, trying to find a way across!

We were delayed by more than 2 hours becasue of that - was getting dark by the time we wrapped up, then the chavs decided they were going to burn donuts on the paddock tarmac... They weren't exactly thrown out, but...

Hehe, despite the delay, it was a good day - far better than being at work! thumbs

Cheers,
