This has just come in to a well -known South Wales Morgan dealers ( they were MG dealers for many years)

All the info I have at the moment is that it is
An MG TF ( obviously) 1250 cc, 1954, 76,000 miles for £19,995.00
Original and new log book, tax exempt, brand new MOT, Boot Rack.

I'm not as besotted with the TF as I am with the TC and pricewise 'F's don't seem to make quite as much as the earlier versions but since the sun is shining and I've actually got some free time this arvo, I might just go and take a look!

HI Robbie,
OK, if he's there this afternoon I'll pass on your good wishes.
Not sure, but I think he may have his wires crossed about the TF because on the one hand he says it's a 1954 car and on the other, it's a 1250cc.

I can't square that because from '54 the TFs had an engine upgrade from the 1250 cc 54bhp XPAG engine to the 1500cc 63bhp Nuffield engine. It may just be that this car sits right on the edge of the production change

Anyway, as I said, worth a look and I'll also see what documentation it has.
One good thing, the T series has an ash frame, so I ought to feel at home there!
regards,
G

Dave,
I grew up with a TC and a TD so long lasting love affair. On the other hand:
1, Not blind to their faults
2. Would have to be very good to tempt me
4. Saw it this arvo and it ain't for me. Too many minuses and not enough pluses. I was not hugely impressed and while I am not averse to spannering and restoring I am not an alchemist. ( I'll send you a PM re the details) Shame really 'cos I did want it to be a good one and, IMHO it wasn't.
regards,
G

PS just had a complete set of bespoke silicone hoses from Paul Roose- I'll post a pic when they are fitted. Suffice to say- the dog's danglies!

Classic Cars June 2010 Page 37:
London Dealer Gregor Fisken has discovered K3008, after a 40 year lay up. "The final barn find K3?????"
It's a '33 slab tank and the three photos show a complete but tatty car.

Page 84 has a feature on the JAP V twin. Contribution from Brian Clutterbuck of the Morgan Three Wheeler Club. I didn't realise that there had been so many variations of this engine, water cooled, air cooled, side valve, OH valve........

Dave,
I love this clip because of the Pendine connection (my grandad used to do the sand races there) and the biking angle. As a man with a love of engineering, you may find it of interest:
