I am still slightly ahead of you:
Last year I lost the two windows in one week
And this winter a window exploded unde severe cold....
I am now waiting for the new windows to be delivered so that the problem is cured for this summer
The Italian dealer I bought the car from is waiting to recieve two sets of these. i will change the first set on an Aeramox based in Milan, and when he will have done the job, email me the step by step process and DHL the windows to home so that I can do the job myself
As 1560, most of my friends that drive supercars don t understand all these issues with the Max, but I just love this car after 20.000 kilometres

As 1560, most of my friends that drive supercars don t understand all these issues with the Max, but I just love this car after 20.000 kilometres
I was recently at a venue where there were numerous supercars parked out from - some 'common': Ferrari 430, Lamborghini LP-560 and some rare: Murciélago, SLR - but sitting and watching from a distance, it was the Aeromax which gathered the most attention. I put this down to 3 main factors: - 1) The what is it factor - people simply don't have a clue who make it and therefore are curious to find out. The people that are aware usually say to me, "oh, Richard Hammond has one!" 2) Chris Harris's touched upon the second factor in his video review of the Morgan Aeromax; in essence, it is when you park the Aeromax near to normal cars that the stark blandness of most other cars on the road really hits home. The Aeromax, as Mr. Harris says, "is like nothing else." Most supercars share design cues (the new Ferrari 458, McLaren MP4, etc, etc all look very similar), the Art Deco style of the Aeromax bucks this trend and reverts to design language long gone. 3) The beauty factor - quite simply, it is stunning. I can stare at it for hours. The side profile is my favourite; as it is with any Morgan. The family DNA is there in the swooping wings and they really are a snapshot of beauty translated from 4/4 Sport to Aeromax and every other Morgan 4-wheeler in between.

I experience the same as Simon. when I park my car next to "ordinary' machines, people gather to look. Its an MG some exclaim. some read the Morgan label on the front cowl.. its a Morgan??? I stand silently by the wayside and give a wiry smile. that kid with the half eaten ice-cream, bugger off. I vow next time to park near a "lexus' and hope that the attention is subtlety drawn away from my joy machine..............

I have a little test which always provides a giggle.
If you find a hotel or venue that has valet parking outside they usually have a couple of places reserved near the door to "show off" the calibre of their patrons.
So far I have had a couple of Lambos, a Ferrari, several Porkers and a Bentley moved to make a space for my 55 plate Aero S2 at the front of the venue. This made me feel great about owning the Aero.
I usually use the Q-Park business parking (it is covered) at LHR if I am flying out of town for a week on business. You drop the car and run into the airport transfer bus. They then move the car to a slot.
On arriving for the last two trips the car was in the same spot (they asked me to park it off to one side on the end row in the drop off area) as I left it. I asked them why they were not moving it assuming it was the "pretty factor" and had my bubble burst.
"Man that things a beast, we could not work out how to start it, then the handbrake was a problem, then the steering lock was to wide to park it in some of the slots. We could not see the front and corners to manoeuvre it and were scared sh****ess of damaging it. We all like looking at it as well."
Puts it in perspective, you have to love it for its "sort of" wrinkles but when someone points them out so clearly you have to laugh. Well, after that static (road test), I have just taken it off my priority shopping list.

consumer prototype somehow makes you feel part of the MMC-family Stephen, It was this that led me to parting company with my Aero 8. The supersports junior it would appear has been developed with the same CP philosophy - ours has broken again. Regards, Robert
