On the way to Heathrow on Sunday my taxi was overtaken by a Delorean. I had never seen one on the road before & it really looked superb

Cape Town also put on a show as we flew north south down the coast & round Cape Point to land.

Here is a view over the top of table mountain back north to Camps Bay, Lion's Head Rock and Signal Rock. You can also see Robin Island in the bay.

I suffered lunch on Monday at the Cape Town Yacht Club & here is the view from the port of the Table Mountain.

We saw a Delorean parked at Trago Mills a couple of weeks ago, they have nice lines it's just a shame they cost the UK taxpayers so much money.

Trago Mills, that takes me back a bit. I also liked the house of marbles.

Plus on a bike Bovey Straights is great fun as a route to the moors.

Make sure you find time to go to Klein Constantia and have the Vin de Constance. Well worth it....drink some history.

We stayed at the Soverby Guest House just outside Stellenbosch.
http://www.soverby.co.za/
There a few more empty bottles of Stellenzicht Golden Triangle in the world now.

Today is Durban & Fri Jo'burg.

Will try to get to Klein Constantia next time.

There was an article in the Telegraph last year about a deLorean specialist in Texas who was about to start limited production again, but with a better drivetrain than that old PRV lump. I wonder if he's got production started now.

I was never particularly a fan. Seemed too heavy, too compromised and under-powered. It did look quite cool though.

Giles. Mogless in Paris.

You have to get it up to 88mph to activate the Flux Capacitor. After that it really shifts smile
