i would prefer go by CNC than 3D printing for the metal, the point is where to find the lens in the correct diameter and facia

Make the lense, Mill some lexan then heat treat it (or Polish it) to turn the ground surface into a nice smooth shiny finish.

The other area that gets scuffed is the rocker area inside, my car has scratches in the leather where previous owners failed to lift their feet enough. A winter job is planned to repair the scuffs..
carpet would be a far better solution in this area.

Just a late addition.......I think the tread rubbers could also encourage kids to stand on the wing? I have seen it happen with unruly kids and parents who didn't give a damn.

Youngsters stand on the running board anyway , it happened not long after I'd picked mine up from the factory , thats why I needed to get tread rubbers and plastic which is better than nothing !

you better to cut in an existing rear light, like in a Range or in a Truck as they are not fully crystal and they have a inner pattern
