makes one wonder why is it being sold at only 1200 on the clock?
are the windows falling out as in another post?
turning circle to small for English roads?
difficult to park at slow speeds?
steering to heavy?
A 4/4 might be more appropriate.?

Widows don't fall out of Aero 8s
Turning circle fine for Scottish roads
Never tried parking at high speeds
Steering perfect
Hardly a direct comparison!

Morning Des,choice of 3 at RPM plus an AeroMax!
We'll chat this morning.

Hehe...
As mentioned windows don't fall out on Aeros. The window post refers to incidents with a couple of Aeromaxes where there was a problem with the glue holding on the back windows. I don't believe it was a widespread issue.

As for the steering, you should drive one clearly - great power steering that is light as easy as any modern car.

The low mileage is unfortunately quite common on Aeros. The owners seem to spend too much time working and not enough time driving....

Managed 6300 in two years..... However ECU replacement wiped out the end of last summer frown
This year part-time work seems to be even busier - roll on August - Morgan DK meeting in Viborg. viking

Guys,

Currently in Lemans and have completed 7500 miles in 7 months in a Series 4 aero.

No windows have fallen out and no trouble parking.

Passenger tells me the we hit 160 on the VIP rides. laugh2

I wouldn't have used 'vitriolic' and I know that one of the great points about this site is that we all have views and can express them but I do agree with Boshers,

I'll put my hand up and say Aeros are not for me but I don't think that takes away from the fact that they have loads going for them- not least in terms of individuality, performance and enjoyment- and yes, I have driven several (although it's not something I admit to very often because it weakens my stance as a ranting traditionalist!).

I also run a 4/4 and have a rebuild of a TR- engined car going on at the moment- They all have their own merits but to suggest that a 4/4 'might be more appropriate' is not imho comparing like with like and so has little value?

I have to agree with the others Ruby. Not clever, not funny, not polite and not needed. I hope it just indicates your sense of humour is dryer than an outback roadkill and perhaps went over our heads ?

I have done 6000 in mine with 12 months and have to wedge the smile off my face when returning home. If I could have done more(due to flights to ANZ included) I would have.

If some people don't like to put mileage on their P&J it is their call but I think it would be a waste not to put more than this on it.

As they stopped making the Aero at the end of last year they are going up in price at present so represent a good investment in this time of economic turmoil. Certainly better than a BP pension.
