The planned electric Nobe three-wheeler looks good.

Interesting that in the blurb it says range 100 miles about the same as a Nissan Leaf. I know someone with a Leaf and the max range is 60 miles if he doesn't use lights or heater! Add to that he believes the battery efficiency goes down to 85% in two years.....basically useless really.

I see today thar Easyjet is backing the development of electric aircraft. I hope that range depletion is not the same!

They have a couple of Nissan Leafs at work, they are used for running people to and from local hotels, the railway station, stuff like that, and when they aren't being used they are plugged into the charge points during the day to top them up.

For a usage pattern like that they are perfect, the running costs are negligible compared to petrol.

Its like taking a large step backwards , they remind me of the cars built for disabled people by AC.

I would have an Electric car for the many short round town journeys that I seem to make these days.

But as a replacement for the 2l BMW Diesel I think we will go Hybrid for now and then full electric once distance /rapid charging is available.

I guess I would not be alone in my route to green!

What about the 4/4 I hear you say?

YES -would go Electric for that too!!

Very retro.
I still like the look of the Microlino, but that seems to be beset by problems...
