The new series last evening of The Gobin Works looked initially, and was to some degree entertaining but why oh why after they had purchased a perfect straight rust free Mk2 Escort from S. Africa for £8K for the group to modify, only to let their female (not being sexist) to drive around a fairly deserted quarry and drive straight into a rock? It beggars belief sometimes! 🤔

It was utter drivel. They justified the asking price by saying that there were a lot of bespoke parts on the car when I couldn't see anything which frankly hadn't come out of the Rally Designs/Demon Tweeks catalogue.

As for the shunt moving the engine and gearbox back? Laughable! Didn't even puncture the radiator.....
