Well, after watching last night’s endless coverage of events at the Dorchester; I was then humbled by the item about Tessa Jowell.
A lady going through a tough time with dignity and purpose.

Humbling and inspiring and in complete contrast to a certain “charitable” event.

Didn’t know about Tessa Jowell and her fight against brain cancer

I wish her well

Being a Leeds United supporter, the news item that got me last night was their intended new club badge

I thought it was a wind up it was such an obtuse and comic design

Leeds United!
Stuart, have you noticed that the blue on your Roadster is not dissimilar to the blue on their coat of arms?

It's certainly got the internet buzzing as it spawns some memes.

My favourite is the one with a horse's nose next to the fist, as a suggested Newcastle Utd club badge.

Yes, even thought about putting a yellow stripe over the bonnet!

My second team is Blackburn Rovers who also play in blue

Having said all that I do think Morgans looks better in red though but being Leeds, I can’t admit to that in public

Never had time for football as a lad of 16 a so called friend asked me to go with him to see Sunderland playing at Roker Park . He was built like a brick S/house . Stood in front of me for the first half and did the same for the second 90 mins ( if that's how long they play ) shows how much I like it when I have no idea of time . Never been to one since. Don't even watch it on TV. England is like 11 Kleenex Tissues.
Soft Fluffy and Expensive . Over paid and under worked . My mates and I worked out he was all for himself and a scrounger so was told he was not welcome , he got the hint. I Played Rugby still got the scars .

The heart hitting or badge hitting gesture has only just become a ‘thing’ . It’s been around for a while when fans chant Leeds, Leeds, Leeds after singing Marching on together

I think it’s a bit thuggish and I’ve only done once as a knowing nod with a smile to someone I bumped into wearing a small discreet Leeds badge on his suit

But to put the gesture on a badge that looks like something from the MLS or a comic book badge just is so wrong

I geniuinely thought it was a wind up or the release of a Leeds fan mag until Twitter exploded last night
