Well, what a great thread!
Thank you both (culminator and mogburner) for what is one of the best threads here.
As a Plus8 owner it jumps out at me.
The content so far is great and I hope it continues. It's something like this that adds a spark to TM.

Just an update to F501PWP :-
The car visited RPi in Norfolk due to running issues. The ignition and Ecu were updated, change of spark plug grade etc. The car runs so sweetly from 1000 rpm up to 5500.
At the moment the radiator had to be removed due to a friction wear on a oil cooler bracket causing a slight weep when the car was cold ( I think it self sealed when hot )
It has been carefully repaired by Peter Mulberry who made it originally. It is ready to be piped up and carefully positioned to prevent repeat.
It really is still a credit to Colin and it’s subsequent owner upgrades.
Love it.

I'm glad she's still making her owner smile! I had a lot of fun in that car and miss it to this day. Great to hear how things are progressing.
