It's a fascinating story, as is the whole Campbell family. I had a ride over the lakes a few years ago & spent several hours in the Lakeland Motor Museum where there was a large display of the attempt.

It seemed only fitting to search out the chap's final resting place and have a few quiet moments reflecting.
