Jens beat me to it. I think we are all conditioned to seeing 7's on alloys but the first 6's and 7's were on wires.

Caterham have announced that they will stop making the 160 model, but to date I don't think they have given a reason, though lack of engines/gearbox or axle may be it. It has been pretty popular though, so I suspect they will be putting it back into production once they have found a suitable replacement power source.

Am very surprised to read this. I would have thought that there is a clear market niche for the 160 - it looks amazing, drives very well ( I know I have driven one at Oakmere) and is a very good entry level price.

Be interesting to see what happens next to fill this gap.
