One interesting addition that came with my latest Morgan is a mesh screen that fits behind the front seats

Both I and Williams said they had never seen one made for a 4 seater before.

I’ve not driven with it on yet and haven’t really worked out if it’s practical as I pretty much always drive with the tonneau cover over if no one is in the back and it doesn’t fit with the cover on at all. I would have to just put the hood cover on exposing the rear seats

Has anyone seen one on a 4 seater and will it make any difference ?

With luck it will keep the spray off the inside of the windscreen.

not seen one on a 4 seater before .

We have one that I bought for the Saab cabriolet; it fits behind the front seats as with yours. It does work very effectively and lessens the wind swirl around the back of your head.

To be honest though, we don't use it very much as it is a faff to put on /stow away and takes up too much room in the boot when not in use.

From the un-marked look of yours,I suspect it has enjoyed a similar lack of use.... thinking

I have one for the Roadster.
The boss tells me it makes no difference so it sits in the garage

I think this one will do the same

I thought I would take the screen off the bar and just use the bar to stop the tonneau cover sagging behind the seats but sadly the cover won’t stretch over the bar at the sides so I think it’s going to be a bit of an unused accessory

It certainly has taken on an industrial air about it for a mesh screen.

I've never tried one but my guess is with the side screens in place you'll be ok, I'm still here after 14 years with a full head of hair sans mesh grin2.

like you. I might be interested if you could fit it with the tonneau cover in place, either just covering the rear seats or as a 1/2 cover.

We have one for the Plus 8, SWMBO says it makes a huge difference so we use it most of the time (though I tend to remove it if I’m on my own).

If the mesh ones works as well as the home made Perspex ones then you will notice that it reduces the wind chill on the back of your neck. I don’t use mine either when I’m on my own but a must have accessory for a couple of old crocs on long journeys, a dash down the motorway or touring.

Stewart can't you re drill the the side down plates to lower the cross bar?
