supposed to be studying, but as I gaze in boredom out of the window onto the garden and the field beyond, the sky is a chrystal clear royal blue, the grass a vibrant green, the leaves have that vivid green they only get at bud break, and the azalea bushes are a riot of different colours. The blue tits in the nest box are raising a brood of youngsters, both hen and cock flying back and forth to feed them. Its 20.1C with a light breeze.

The only negative is the two woodpidgeons strutting about the veggie patch, eyeing up my brassicas for their lunch. Where's my gun?

Well we went to the recycling centre to get rid of packing materials etc.
Fortunately it is in Felixstowe so we stopped by the sea for a while.
I agree Howard yesterday it was good to be alive.

Here's one I shot from the comfort of my summer house on Saturday. Warm pigeon breast and bacon salad on Monday. Yum Yum.

Wonderful! We've just returned from a few days on the South Coast - glorious weather. We spent some time in Bosham, just outside Chichester, where we came across this oddity - and yes, it is a road that disappears at hide tide. Lovely village.

Hiking on Tuesday around Bibury in the Cotswolds. What shear delight. Is it just me or are the greens more viberant this year or what.
