I really should take heed....just waiting for my X3 to be delivered. My last diesel engined car but the straight six is a pearl. My last IC car to run until a decent electric car is eventually available and the infrastructure is in place. I’m expecting massive depreciation.

Yes, I am assuming my CRV will be worth next to nothing when I sell it, probably in a year's time. Then we'll just keep the Landy, the Morgan, and the Fiat and make them last as long as we can. Other than that it will be ultra-banger stuff, nothing over a grand. I can't see the point of ever buying a new or even nearly new car again. Far too expensive compared to the realised utility value.
