Good morning,

I have a 1996 +4 4 seater, T16 engined Mog. The exhaust has finally expired after 22 years, and I need to get it replaced.
Any advice about where to get the parts, and indeed, what parts are needed would be really useful. As usual the internet is full of rubbish advice!!
Thanks in advance

Ask Librands, Hearts Of England or Melvyn Rutter

These made me a bespoke exhaust a couple of years back. They needed the car for three hours, did a great job, and charged me half what I'd been quoted by any of the Morgan specialists.

Yup, this is the kind of place I'd go to if I needed something like this. My system is dead simple and is based on an original Plus 8 absorption silencer. Nice and fruity with no baffles to get in the way.

Harpers list the T16 system...http://www.harpersmorgan.co.uk/Other/exhaust_details.htm
you may or may not need a link pipe to cat.

Watch out for the cat price, there are some exorbitant prices (£600 plus) out there worth checking here (£125)

These people are very professional but do need the car if it's a Morgan - Adrian from the SW had some very reasonably priced good work done by them.

One of our members will shortly be travelling down here for a new system for a very special Morgan wink.

Speak to Henry at Williams Automobiles, they have developed a new sports exhaust system. The manifold was on display at Blenheim on Sunday.

It looks nice and shiny too ...

I also fitted the Librands (Piper) system on my 4/4 with good results and sound.

I wanted something already developed and guaranteed to work.

By the way I noticed that Rob Wells has sold the Librands parts supply operation to someone in Bristol but he assures me that everything will still be available.

Haven't seen any specific announcements yet but I might have missed it.

Someone in Bristol? Not near Bristol ......... perhaps Williams?.

A shame.....I’ve a lot of time for Rob Wells....he was very helpful to me when I was fettling my 4/4 Sport.

Where are you located?

These people in Wilton are very good....

But there are others all over the country. If I ever fit side pipes I'll get them to do it!

Any update on whether we deal with Williams for the Librands product range?
