It's a Garmin 20. Yes, suckered onto the screen. I thought it was quite stable, although there's some image distortion at the start.
It's funny how you forget its there and obviously all comments are recorded, as is the GPS detail and speed. I'm quite taken by it - much better than I expected.

It would probably be better dead centre, but then it would partially obscure vision and I don't think the Plod would like that.

Don't get too excited it's nothing special - just a test sequence!

Ok, that's working fine. Now to embed the video:

  • In YouTube, go to advanced settings and check the "Allow embedding" option.

  • select and copy the youtube link (the one in the format youtube.com/watch?v=xxxx)
  • in TM, switch to "Full Reply Screen" for your post
  • click the "Enter a media tag" button, 5th from left.

  • click the bottom option "YouTube Video"
  • in the pop-up box, paste in the URL

  • IMPORTANT, remove the s in https to make it http
  • Press OK

The video then appears within the post (all being well)...

Makes it more visible and as a benefit goes some way to obfuscating your unlisted link.

Indeed, as noted above.

As the Photobucket debacle has made this post pretty much unusable I've rehosted the images and created a new topic...

How to embed a YouTube video
