Popped across to Sywell for a coffee with a couple of mates this morning & took this pic, just to whet your appetite..

Not sure there looked like two above us at the pub in burpham this evening amazing, and a week ago whilst visiting the excellent Battle of Britain memorial above Dover a lone one flew over, took my breath away.

I can also highly recommend John Nichols book "spitfire" fascinating insight into the men and women who flew it during the war.
I shall be going to Walsall light cinema in Tuesday to see the film.

You are so lucky.......they very rarely venture this far up north 😟

A Harvard was over the estuary a couple of weeks ago....twice and whilst we get a lot of military planes I was very surprised to see a Bell V-22 Osprey fly over low and fast a couple of days ago.

I didn’t think that they were over here. An impressive sight.

The Osprey might be here to support the Trumpet visit.

We've a Spitfire visiting Windsor Ontario next Friday for few days can't wait, that should also attract quite a few Morgans and MGs to the arrival party.
Photos to follow.
