Does anyone on this section have any info/knowledge of the Aeromax that Bell & Colville have for sale?

Only 2000 miles and it does not seem to have the additional safety bolts fitted to the rear hatch windows. I would check to see if all the usual stuff has been done and what servicing it has had.

1 Immaculate condition
2 will need a few things done

Looks a stunner.
Love the colour combination.

Hi,

I cannot give you much info. They had this car on their stand at Blenheim and as a fellow Aeromax owner I chatted briefly to the salesman and he gave me the impression that they were marketing it on behalf of the owner and a price of £150K was mentioned as what they were hoping to achieve. I realise that these are rare beasts and it looked to be a very nice (I really liked the colour, (perhaps even a little more than my own which is sebring silver) low mileage example (chassis 39 if I remember correctly) which has the glued rather than studded rear windows. However, in my opinion this is an overly ambitious price.

I hope you find this info useful and others may be along directly with greater knowledge about this particular car.

Regards

I was going to enquire about this car at £150k but what number would make you part with yours?

Hi,

By all means enquire about this car, don't let my opinion on price put you off. I purchased my Aeromax almost 3 years ago now for what I estimate was around £93K (cannot be precise about cost as a trade in of my R8 was involved and it depends on what value you put on that - I valued it at what I believed I could realistically have achieved in a private sale). While it is the first car I have purchased that I am confident will bring more than I paid for it when I finally decide to sell, I did not purchase it with a view to it being an investment; I believe cars should be drive and I have put more than 10K on the mileage in my ownership, which I hope will last for many years as I am really enjoying ownership - it is the sound it makes that is the most seductive thing and what prompted me to purchase it in the first place.

Best of luck with your enquiries and if you want any advice just get in touch. Let me how you get on (PM if you prefer).

Best regards.

Thank you for all your info Malcolm, I suddenly became a bit less interested at £150k and that is before I mention it to SWMBO.
