Folks, does anyone have any experience of changing the footwell floors in a traditional Morgan, or can anyone point me in the direction of any online resources. Does anyone know the ply thickness? My car lived outdoors for many years and was used everyday. With the usual leaks it seems the floors have suffered a bit. As I will be doing some other works I may as well do this while I am at it. Thanks Michael

Mine are Tufnol. Light, stiff, and waterproof.

Use the old pieces as templates for the new ones. Marine ply used to traditional to replace the originals , but I would go with Tim's suggestion of Tufnol.

You might want to set the new boards in a layer of silicone mastic and order to ensure that any water does not enter the cabin under the carpets.

When I rebuilt my Mog, i secured the new marine ply floorboards with T nuts, the bolts going from underneath. Nice neat job.

Marine ply sealed with west system epoxy before fitting would be my choice

Thanks to everyone for the advice - much appreciated. Will look for some suitable board and see what I can find - ideally want to get the car back on the road ASAP to maximise the good weather. I like the t-nut suggestions. Michael
