IWM Battle of Britain airshow this Saturday and Sunday 22/23 September. Anyone booked to go?

We (myself and family friends) have tickets for Sunday.

A surprisingly good show despite the initial rain and appalling mashalling to car parks causing 90 minute delay.

Flying started at 1pm by which time rain had subsided and cloudbase risen with sun beginning to appear.

First display from 16 Tiger Moths appearing from the south in well rehearsed "100" formation. Four spotter aircraft within maintained number shape and spacing. Followed by spirited display from Eurofighter.

DaveW..

Too many planes featured on this CAR site for my liking...who can be bothered to spend time at airshows and aviation museums.

What is the point of History?,,after all it is in the past !!!
