Just noticed that one of the few Supersport Coupes made is up for auction at the upcoming Silverstone Auctions sale at the NEC Classic car show for anyone interested.

Thank you AeroMax, I will watch with interest. I was a little confused by the mention of 39 Coupes, I assume it was 39 Supersports, some of which were Coupes.

Just time to burn a little more petrol before dinner.

I have seen this car at Ledgerwood Morgan at one of its services and seen it on the move...truly work of automotive art whether static or on the road.

And this is from a confirmed Trad owner !!!!

I was lucky enough to drive a couple when I was a tour guide. My favourite Aero....well apart from the Aeromax that is.

I think they mean 39 coupes, the car shown is not a SuperSport which had the Targa-type top and MMC made over 100 of these.

Thanks Brian, I was confused as I was told the production of Coupes was much lower than they expected (IRO 15-20) in total.

When dealing with insurance companies during renewals the ability to find the right model can be hilarious. Some call them Suspersports, Some call them Aero's but only the real specialists know the Coupe even exists. Most of them bundle the Coupe under the Supersports name.

Also the V5 is listed as a Supersports.

Its only a name.

Lovely motor, good colours too.

I'll be interested to see how much it goes for.
