Rich.That should read Tony Ponds Metro6r4,he once said if you go over the edge at Monte carlo your clothes are out of fashion by the time you hit the bottom.

That's a great line Em - Tony Pond's car it is then.

He rallied the TR8 as well if I remember correctly didn't he in Red and Blue ?

He signed my Talbot rally jacket whilst we were marshalling the welsh i think. A couple of weeks later my gran pleased as punch informed me I got the writing off your jacket looks like new.......

. Em he did rally the works TR8 I think it was the same car that Bob Fowden had later on. Had a passenger ride in at later date ...awesome. Competed against Bob in it in my first +8. Great fun trading times with him on a tarmac stage rally at talbeny airfield.
