Hi,

Apologies if this has already been discussed on another forum but I’ve had a good trawl and can’t seem to find anything on it.

I need to replace the brake master cylinder on my 1988 +8 and can’t seem to find an aftermarket part anywhere.

From doing a lot of trawling other websites I believe it used to be part LUCAS 74066147 but I may be mistaken. Even so I can’t find one in stock anywhere.

Does anyone have any experience in sourcing these by any chance?

Thanks in advance.

Charlie

An alternative is to get the master cylinder bored and relined, there are many companies that will do this. Here are two at random

I've used Power Track for new parts and Past Parts for refurb of stuff no longer available - both are good
