A mate’s son piloted on the first test landings last summer.
Pembrey is a good spotting location as there is a bombing range there. A wide variety of both RAF and foreign forces use it.

Spent a pleasant hour or so, last Monday sitting on a rock watching one doing low passes. Could not see the a actual touch spot.

Thanks for sharing that it's a big bird to be landing on the beach.

I used to love the landing on the cockleshell beach in the Twin Otter on the Isle of Barra and you were totally lost for about a couple of minutes in the spray coming off the wheels.
