Just about to order from a well-known online retailer grin2 - I think the CTEK XS 0.8 is what I need... for my 2011 Plus 4 Sport.

I am aiming to charge through the socket on the dashboard; the battery is hiding behind the seats somewhere...

Anyway, let me know if I need a different charger!

Thanks,

Jon.

The kit Will include the cable and attachments to connect to the battery . This is I think better than using the 12v socket.
When I used the socket on my VW it caused problems .

Agree wire direct to battery..I drilled a hole through marine ply on my P4SS near to aluminium panel behind passenger seat and used supplied connectors for quick release to main unit.

Nice tidy job.

May be prudent to fit an in-line fuse close up to battery terminals. Even though wires may only be short going through plywood, there is still chance of insulation chafing over time with resultant, catatrophic short circuit!

I have been using one for several years and a different one before this one. Its plugged into the cigar lighter . BUT YOU MUST put a note on your screen warning you its there as a few lads have started the mog with it plugged in . If you are a distance from the wall plug you can get an extension . I will dig out my box and details in the morning to see if anything pops up. Got mine from Brands Hatch Morgans. Think it was about 60/00.
