Today I collected my new toy.

Ordered in July with most of the options & collected today. I waited a while on the build date as Ford were doing updates for the model 19 year.
I also ask my dealer to fit the Mountune gear gaiter, I fitted the mats.
I do have a Mountune intake to fit, which I'll do this week,

I will post detailed pics later on.

That looks fun. Be interested to learn your impressions once you have lived with it for a few weeks.

205PS Which is around 200bhp. Bear in mind the engine is now a 1.5L 3 cylinder.

SO far this is a huge step up from the MK7 ST that I had.

I've gone for every option except the glass roof & blind spot indication.

Excellent choice Sir! Apparently a superb little car and Top Gear's COTY 2018. Second only to a Morgan in the 'smiles per mile' stakes grin2

Great little motor. I like the headlamps.

I often wonder what would happen if that was the only model they offered. When you get the recipe right is it worth bothering with all the other models.

You lucky bar steward!
Ford have developed the Fiesta really well. swmbo used to have them as a works car in a slightly better than basic form. I loved driving them.
I am tempted to get a second hand one as a runabout.
Look forward to your reviews... drive

Lawrie love the car particularly performance pack just want to drive down country roads but have not used launch control yet! Although reviews say it is a quicker car there is not so much of a punch in lower gears on some of my favourite routes but am not pushing things until have reached 1000 miles. Many criticise less aggressive look and styling is too close to ST line but I prefer the lower more subtle look. Disappointed Ford has has not addressed moving the obd port for security reasons. I had this moved on the mk7 have also fitted tracker as had this on the other car as there are still 3 years of membership left. Polished alloys ! So must take care as to not curb them! At £80 per repair thinking of taking out insurance. But not with dealer! Tidy alloys do unlimited claims for 3 years for £179
Regards Roger

Update -- I have now hit the 600 mile mark & my verdict is this car is truly amazing.
I had the previous mk7 example & the mk8 is so much better. I can see why so awards have been won in the motoring world. As a stock factory car, Ford have once again beaten their rivals.

My engine is now loosening up & is loving to rev freely. The noise from the exhaust is very good & the uprated Quaife diff is a wonder, really pulls the car in the corners.

Sound like your both enjoying the Fiesta I've got the 3 cylinder 1.0 125bhp and that goes like stink so the ST must really fly.
I've had mine now for nearly a year and the ride and performance is really good for a small car, Enjoy!

Just cracked over 750miles, the engine has loosened up amazingly. I really can't wait to fit the Mountune tuning package once its been released to the public.
