Images have disappeared from posts and I can’t load the TM Image site

Is it just me or is everyone struggling?

Thanks Peter

It was bizarrre because my Wi-fi connection was fast and getting me on the forum and allowed me to watch videos on YouTube but didn’t want to download the TM images or get me on the TM image website

I don’t know what it didn’t like

Long story, but you haven't been able to upload photos direct to TM for a year or two Stefan.
Peter (Gambalunga) set up an image hosting site (www.tm-img.com) where we could upload photos and then provide a link so the photos appeared on here.
If you go to www.tm-img.com/page/ifu
you will find "Instructions for use". It is free, but many of us donate towards the running costs. The site is administered by Peter and Tim (Hamwich).
Good luck! smile

Hannes. Are you referring to the tm-image.com site here? A browser will often return an "insecure site" message if there are links to other sites, or images that are hosted on an insecure site. Those little "Share" buttons that you often see, FB, Twitter, Google, etc., can cause this problem. If it is a known site you can put a permanent exemption in your browser. There should be no problem per se with tm-image.com as it has its own certificate.

Talk Morgan does not have its own certificate and if you try to log on to the secure site (https://www.talkmorgan.com) it returns "Insecure site" because it is using the certificate of the hosting service:
Quote:
www.talkmorgan.com uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is only valid for the following names: *.gridhost.co.uk, gridhost.co.uk Error code: SSL_ERROR_BAD_CERT_DOMAIN

Stefan

Stefan. The size of allowed files that could be attached in Talk Morgan was reduced because the larger files, such as many images, seemed to be slowing down response times of the forum dramatically. This, amongst other issues with image hosting sites, led to the establishment of https://www.tm-img.com/

This image hosting site is intended for the use of TM members but images that are hosted there can be used anywhere. You must be a member and log on to the site to view or upload images. Click here for instructions on how to use tm-img.com
