Thank you all for your useful responses.
Going to look at the car tomorrow morning so I feel to be armed with some useful questions.

In the meantime and as a benchmark, I took a drive yesterday in a 3.7 Roadster, and I have to say I was very impressed. I'd need a switchable sports exhaust though!

I'll post my thoughts on the Plus 8 in due course.

Jacques

Change at MMC is always something of moveable feast ! I thought the change was 2001 initially but then I was told of someone with a 2002 car that had "Hotwire" . Nothing is ever simple with Morgans.

Which can make it even more fun trying to answer the odd question on older cars when conducting tours smile
But, fun it definitely is! thumbs grin2

Not sure that’s true - someone could well wave a copy of a certain book at Graham and use that as proof.

Too bad You did not get a drive in a 2005 3.0 Ltr Roadster. I like My +8 Bitsa because it has "Grunt". How ever the 3.0 has "Balance". I would love a 3.0 Roadster.

I liked it a lot. Drove well and looked good. A few niggles and minor issues, but no deal breakers. I think I shall be making an offer. Then I shall be seeking all sorts of advice!
