Sorry for another question - new owner syndrome!

Could anyone tell me the route the loom takes to the back of the car? I want to wire in the reverse light and rear fog I've fitted, and think it will help if I've got a rough idea before I start pulling trim off etc....

From what i can see it does the following:

From back of dashboard, down behind drivers side kick panel trim.
Along the drivers side door sill (is it behind trim?)
Across the front of the drivers seat and towards the prop tunnel

It's from here that I need help. Does it go alongside the prop tunnel inside the car or outside?

Once it gets to the rear seat area where from there? I don't recall seeing anything when I removed the seat pad which makes me thing it may be travelling outside the car.

Thank you!

On my 1986 car the loom to the rear runs all the way down the top of the driver's sill, under the padding and next to the fuel line. The original fuel pipe was a horrible plastic affair so I replaced it with proper braided fuel hose. It goes through a hole in the rear bulkhead just above the leaf spring. It then goes down the side of the fuel tank and crosses to the left side of the car just in front of the rearmost chassis crossmember.

Yes thats coreect same as our 3 cars, I would go for copper fuel line as my braided line went hard and non flexible, copper is more durable, also my fuel line is inside the car rather than under. Dont forget a fuel filter...

My fuel line comes down the passenger side (but is copper) and then crosses over the front of the bulkhead.

She's had a rebuild by a non-Morgan specialist in the past, so I may be on my own with this one!

Although have just looked at a few photos on google, and some also have a similar set up for the fuel line, so perhaps mine is right for the year.

It was a bit wet yesterday so couldn't get a good look at the wiring, I'll have a better look today.

Pretty sure my '76 4/4 had fuel lines on the left hand side, but it was a few years ago...

Started having a look today - took the spare wheel off and the rear seats. It appears that the loom comes up on the drivers side of the fuel tank, and then disappears under the rear metal seat cover.

Didn't have to go any further as there were already a couple of wires that had been blanked off so have been able to use them smile

Now have a fog light (need to sort out a warning light) and a reversing light smile

Yes that's what I have with feed from the battery running alongside the fuel line
