Can't wait to give it the beans!! woohoo

That chassis looks reassuringly meaty.

Giles, It is going to be a 1955 shade of Mercedes Silver which has a very feint hint of blue, just like the Gullwings.

Yes, Tim that was my initial reaction but you only need to look at the "standard" ones to know that you have to have them!!

TimG, In terms of the original 1937 SS100, none of it is original. The last original one sold last year for £ 650K, however all the "oily bits" are late '60's, early '70's so it is sort of old.
As Suffolk make all the other parts, owners of original cars come to them for parts as they are 100% authentic in fit and finish.

Yup, there's no point spoiling the ship for a ha'porth of tar. It's going to be gorgeous, so you may as well make it as gorgeous as you can!

I was looking at the Suffolk website yesterday, they truly are lovely cars, aren't they?

It's no good, I shall have to crack on and win the £1m Premium Bond prize this month. smile

Only if I can win the following month, I think I will need around £4-£5 million and then I have to source a nice '20's Le Mans Bentley. It has always been a dream of mine to drive a vintage Bentley around Hyde Park Corner.

Hello Brian, I am hoping for delivery in late March going into April. A lot depends on the IVA.

Thanks for sharing the photos, great choice of colour

That exhaust manifold in the background of the first few shots is a pure work of art
