Does anyone have a photo of the wiring at the back of the alternator on a Kent 4/4?
In fixing another problem I appear to have dislodged a green/black wire with a normal Lucar type connector and I have no power to the ignition.
Thanks,
Don.

Problem solved!
Wire which I thought that I had dislodged was a red-herring and probably a left over from a Kenlowe thermostat which was fitted by a previous owner. The current fan controller is now in the top hose. The lack of electrical power at the ignition switch was caused by a connection to the solenoid which had come loose.
Sometimes I know just enough to be dangerous!!
