See my earlier post. It depends on the language of your device and/or browser. Peter's original 3 words location is in Italian if I reset exactly the same spot.

Sorry if I haven't got fully into this thread as yet, but does this mean that for this system to work there are as many code variations for the same location as there are languages in the world? If so, doesn't a universal numeric grid reference still make sense for most purposes?

It still gives the correct location if you search for it in the map in say English whatever your home language may be, and I assume vice versa.

Now I have the car I've been playing with the new MBUX system, it replaces the 15 year old "Command" system. It is a bit like migrating from a PC to a Mac, and like all modern systems it can be voice activated.

I asked it to take me to "intend.straddlwd.awkward" and it took me to right outside the garage door. I'm impressed.

Now, if only I could program Waze, which I use in Tarka, with What 3 Words it would be perfect!

I read a couple of weeks ago that some of the police forces are now using it.

It does seem to be a bit of a coincidence!
