I was driving the MOG the other day and I've noticed that my temperature is low. It this something I should be worried about? I must say that last year I replaced my coolant with water free product. Any help would be helpful.

How low is low? Have you checked the temperature other than by the gauge? I would go with HeadlessBlue's suggestion LOL.

Without a furry helmet, ear muffs and silk scarf I don't feel fully dressed. I sometimes keep about my person one of those little infra red temparature guages. Point it at the part of the engine to give a digital read out of temperature. The 1800cc Duratec engine in my 4/4 runs at 84 deg C measured on the engine block and slightly hotter 88deg C measured onto the sump. This is after a run of at least 30 miles.

Coolant temperature or driver temperature?
Buying a Morgan leads to clothing purchases as well. Especially your treasured passenger! The passenger is often won over to buying the car by the opportunity to shop for clothing!
Coolant.......check the system. What are thesymptoms?
My Plus8 shows gauge differences Winter to Summer due to ambient air temp. It doesn’t overheat as the fan kicks in. Currently steady at 80decC but rises in traffic/on stop. Last summer it was 90degC onruns in the hot weather.
Just bought bonnet catch extenders ready to fit for warmer weather.

My Zetec 4/4 runs noticeably cooler since a Mulfab Al radiator was fitted.
The fan only comes on now in extreme weather or traffic.
However, mysteriously, the heater works better. confused2

As for clothing, there is almost a wardrobe full depending on conditions: though most belong to TlLB!
I also keep a fluffy red, Morgan rug in the car. It is dual purpose; keeping Susie warm and (rolled up in a squash bag) as a footrest in the passenger footwell.

Morgan Temp gauges are notoriously inaccurate. Particularly the older Morgans. As I drive a 1961 and 1963 TR powered Morgan the temp gauge is particularly spotty. If I see steam I slow down. If I do not see steam I am OK.
