Wasn't my bottle collection Kev it was domestic bits snd pieces. Too heavy to be up there as it turns out.

Well it's been ok for ten years......

If it had been 10 year old bottles of whisky she would now be in good spirits.

True. The broken glass cuts your tongue I guess.

Dave, is the wall concrete block or some sort of breeze material?

Unless it is real concrete plastic plugs are not really strong enough, I prefer Rawl Bolts, like this: https://youtu.be/cXpIHsIE4As

When they are in and tight they are about as solid a fixing as possible.

Well Dave, if it's any consolation my wife says that strange smells sometimes follow me around our house. When she smells them I can't.......... smile

MrsW is a hairdresser and described her hair in detail. Messy and taken up. Her clothes were messy 19th century. Our house/estate is built on the site of an old farm

Our gates can't be opened without making a big noise, and they were undisturbed. I opened the door and there was nobody there.

We sometimes get intense smells in the house. Usually freesias, and when this happens, the smell follows me round the house, almost like a wall of perfume. If I smell it, MrsW doesn't and vice versa.

I get occasional cold spots in the garage. One day a litre plastic bottle of gear oil came off the shelf and I saw the shadow out of my eye corner as I was bending down. I dodged instinctively and it missed my head and landed on the floor with a thump.

There's been other minor things but that's how it goes on. Something very odd, but not something which bothers us.

You could invite the ghost on a joyride in your roadster. It would be a great show, the ghost would be happy, you would have a good relationship with each other, and the ghost would not disturb the weight ratio of the roadster during the ride.
