Heinz and I have both fitted these from PowerfulUK. Bearable price with DRL function provided by six outer main beam LED's on much reduced power (1 watt).

Brightest ones in their side by side test. No fitting issues although polycarbonate lens does stand a little proud of rim.

Peter,
I have 4 of the standard glass & bowl for the trad cars. If they fit Tarka you are welcome to one.

I have fitted the reflectors with the LEDS in the lower half from e bay.

ECU upgrade necessary to allow LED lights to be compatable ?
If not then I could get some fitted as going in for service and first MOT v soon !

Presumably this a BMW ECU/BCU issue as no problems with Ford powered models.

That’s also quite an arty selfie you’ve taken there.

I would really like to fit replacement headlights with always on Driving Lights but I understand that there are complications in wiring the DRL so that they are always on when ignition on and then having to go Off when main headlights switched on. Is this true and how is it done to be legal? Apologies if there is another thread on this wiring issue. If you can point me to it.
