I'm curious if Moggers still use the one shot oiler? Will shortly participate in a 6500 mile rally in my 1994 +8, I don't normally use the oiler. Just ensure that the suspension is greased around every 300 miles via the bottom nipple. Driving roughly 200-300 miles a day for around 5 weeks should I use the one shot oiler?

I used the oiler in my early days of ownership in the seventies and don't see any difference to the later greasing. A lot easier when you didn't have to get under to greace.
.+8 Now gone for a 1800 4/4. Duratec in bright yellow.

I give mine a 2 Sec shot every 2-300 miles. I grease the bottom end every 500 miles.

I cut my one shot off the +8 30+ years ago. In the last 30 years have completed at least 10, 3k+ mile trips. I used to grease every 1k but in recent times have completed 2 trips of 4k miles and haven't greased anything. Not recommending but front suspension has survived.

Same here except the 2 sec shot equates to a half bottle of red every dinner time.
Here for a good time not a long time!!

I never use the one-shot oiler but grease every 1000 miles when touring. It's a conversation starter as well as good maintenance.

Either method is a must-do.
Combination of one-shot and grease is good.
The important thing is doing it as opposed to not.
On my 4/4 used to lubricate every 500/700 miles using one-shot.
Current car is grease only (no one-shot) and done 700/1000 miles. Hard chrome kingpin and no wear showing after 35k miles of ownership ( previous ownermust have fitted them but no idea when). Currently at 65k miles total.
Not done big mileage trips but would take a greasegun when I do. I do grease before weekend trips every time.

Funny thing this greasing. Not saying by any means to not do it.
However, I hardly ever grease mine. Think about 4 times in 7 yrs & guess they get done once a year at service time. Car from new with gaiters fitted from new. 38000 miles & still no play. I had hoped that the kingpins would have worn by now as they are original so I could have an excuse to change front springs & fit hard chrome king pins.
4/4 Ivory 4.1:1 axle, Jaguar XE R-Sport.

I make My own King Pins out of Hydraulic Rod. It comes in 22' lengths. I have it cut into 15" lengths. I found that My Supplier has two types of Rod. One type is Hardened (induction) under the very thin chrome covering. Is this needed? I don't know but I think induction hardening would be better. Are the chrome king pins you buy already made up induction hardened? I don't know that either but the hardening would certainly make machining difficult. I do not thread the bottom end as the ones You buy have. I drill and tap both ends and use a allen head stud on the bottom and a Grade 8 cap screw on top. I also bush with Vesconite, a plastic bushing material that is self lubricated. I grease once a year at Spring Maintenance time regardless of the miles I drive.

I sell the excess King Pins to My Friends at My Cost. Its a good deal economically.

At one time I installed this but no longer. Too old and the Legal Liability should there be an accident is too much.
