Maybe this IS the car for Howard ?

Given the funds I'd have one in a heartbeat, totally impractical but gorgeous.

Looked pretty good at FOS last year though David wasn't pushing it too hard, and with a fairly basic engine should be very reliable

Definitely had the right sound, and I dare say a few Aussies who also love the V8 sound will have signed up .

I wish!

Its intriguing though isnt it? There are a number of such high priced small production wide engined V8 cars being made all over the world. All of a sudden, it seems quite feasible to build cars in small numbers when a couple of decades ago it was limited to a few companies like Ferrari.

But what is puzzling is - who are the buyers? I suppose a lot must go to the gulf and countries like Russia where the oligarks / robber barons have more money than they know what to do with.

Morgan are missing out. They could do something like this Brabham easier than even Brabham can.

P.S. I am looking at a poverty spec Ferrari 360. So costing way less than an Aero.Cant afford the latter.

Howard that's still a lovely car but have you considered something alternative (don't know why I said that!)

I have always loved these little Dino's https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201901284374036

Same 206 V6 engine and the beautiful styling of that period. Achingly cool car.
