Glorious stuff. Pure automotive pornography.
The wheels alone on that 59 are magnificent.
Many thanks for posting.

"One I'm not sure of and Type 37"

I think the one on the left (CE520HB) may be a Type 40.....

The French style tend's more towards such a car being kept "dans son jus" wearing all the scars and patina acquired over a lifetime, or as we might say the "oily rag" tendency than massive restoration.

Ivan Dutton did have an immaculate recreation of a T35 for sale for (IIRC) €400000, but it was clearly labelled as such

The one is black is the recreation, but not by Pur Sang (I cannot remember the name). It was built in 2005 but I was astonished at how authentic it looked. Everything had been appropriately aged to look as though it had 90 years of provenance.

But at the end of the day, who cares as long as you are having fun. There is a nice rep. on V&P for around £200K

The 2005 one looks a lot like one built out here recently
