I was browsing in WH Smith and had an extended glance at it. OK article but didn’t buy the mag as not a lot other stuff in it that drew me in.
There is only so much drooling over the ads that you can do......

Thanks sospan. I was not told how extensive or informative the articles were so thanks for your feed back.

I get all of mine online via Readly as a good amount in the mags aren't of interest and i object to forking out a fiver for one article. Mean i know..

Works fine. If I'm going to read anything on the move I download it while I am at home otherwise I read it online and skip the bits I don't want. There's a good few motoring mags on there, classic cars and motorcycles and a few photography ones I read. Lots cheaper than buying hard copies and I don't get left with a pile of mags to get rid of.
Interestingly I prefer to read real books than via a screen...

Me too, which is surprising given the amount of time I waste on the internet . I tried an on line mag subscription that came with a bank account and didnt really like reading that on a tablet either.

Cant put my finger on why.

Have you tried a dedicated e-reader with a non-reflective surface like a Kindle?

I used to be pretty sniffy about reading on electric devices, I went through the whole "It'll never replace the tactile experience of reading" bit.

Then someone advised me to give it a proper try, reading for an hour or so rather than just having a quick flick through before dismissing it.

I'm now a devoted fan and buy all my books in this format. I find it so convenient that I now actually dislike having to read a physical book.

Is there a way to view this mag site on a kindle Tim?
Like you, I really like my kindle for novels etc. I like being able to increase the print size! Much easier to hold than a paperback. But it has t be a non light screen for me. E ink, no backlight.

Call me a dinosaur, but I still prefer the original article - print on paper smile
