I noticed that as well Peter, my S4 has louvers along the full length of the bonnet with the same "outside opening" as on yours. I guess if the full length option is ticked, they all have to be cut the same way, including those over the heater box.

Don't worry, it looks remarkably similar now and still has no louvres.
Excessive heat isn't usually a great problem in it either. Certainly not when it's near home!
