Will miss it as I’m driving in France - hopefully it’ll be repeated next week

I don't know why but I'm always disappointed with the coverage of this event. It seems to me at least that there is always a lot of jibber jabber with not a lot of substance but then it serves me right for not sorting myself out and going to the event.

I was lucky to catch most of last nights coverage which I thought was great. I tuned in just as the Bentley guys had pulled into the pits to sort out their hood issues. I thought it fantastic to be able to sit in the comfort of my arm chair watching priceless automobiles being driven with enthusiasm and such skill by the higher placed finishers in all the races. No queuing or parking issues, got to see the whole track replays of the more interesting aspects and no traffic jambs on my way to get a cup of tea in the kitchen...(-:

But then I do not enjoy being in a crowd or queuing up for anything.... each to their own..

Julia Bradbury should stick with walking country paths and leave these sort of programmes to the likes of Suzy Perry or Amanda Stratton who are true enthusiasts.
